KIRKLAND, WA / ACCESSWIRE / November 24, 2014 / DataJack, Inc. (DJAK)), a leading MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler) in the telecommunications industry, today announced that it has obtained FINRA approval regarding its corporate name change from DataJack, Inc. to Unified Signal, Inc. In coordination with the name change, the Company’s shares will begin trading under its new approved ticker, UNSI, effective as of November 28, 2014."

Unified Signal's Chief Executive Officer, Paris Holt, stated, "We feel that this official name will help position the Company as one of the leading telecom and mobile banking enablers in the marketplace as well as to better reflect its current business focus and activities. The wireless and mobile commerce industry segment is growing rapidly and our implementation team can’t keep up with demand for our system and services which is a great problem to have. Our client enrichment program has really taken hold and we now have over 17 MVNOs launched on the platform which will make for an exciting 2015 in terms of revenue growth. We are also expanding our mobile wallet clients and the system’s domestic and international move money capabilities. This name change will truly distinguish the former company, DataJack, with the new entity of Unified Signal. The name and symbol change are the finishing touches to a complete turnaround for the company. In the time it took for these changes to be enacted, the company has increased its revenue rate by over 300%, turned EBITDA positive, and seen its stock price quadruple and stabilize. It’s been a great 2014 and these changes will fully establish Unified Signal’s new identity and allow the marketplace to recognize this impressive growth story that is still just in its beginning stages."

Wireless resellers (called MVNOs) use the carrier’s wireless spectrum and network to offer private label wireless services to its end customers. MVNOs provide customer service, billing, and carrier operation functions, and focus on sales and marketing to attract new customers. Unified Signal’s MVNO enablement platform allows its clients to mark up the carrier’s wholesale cost for use of the network and create its own unique product offering. Unified Signal can provide a completely turnkey solution or allow its clients to take on as much of operations as they wish to handle.
